He had an amazing game:

6 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 1 safety, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 1 pass defensed.

That's a hell of a stat line. Did anyone else put up comparable numbers this week?? Holliday was close with 6 total tackles and 3 sacks.....but I'd still give JT the edge there.

Do you guys think he gets it?? Who else would be deserving?

I agree. Didn't he also get a pick?

Doesn't look like he's getting any pub for his efforts........guess the game was too meaningless for these guys to pay attention to.

ESPN - At the end of the day - Week 12

ESPN - Sunday Stud - Week 12

At least Pasquarelli gave him a little props:

ESPN - the Morning After

Also saw that Tom Jackson gave his defensive player of the week award to the Bears D-Line....called out Alex Brown (who was a BEAST Sunday) and OGun specifically. But if you're gonna go with one guy.....I still say JT.

He sure as hell better get it for this week. He had a monster game and he should be an award for doing so.

He deserves it but I think he is going to get screwed over again. They probally will give it to brushci because he had 6 tackles and came back from a stroke:fire:  .

 Nah, they gave him the award for his first week back.......I doubt he'll get another player of the week award.......they'll just wait and give him the Defensive MVP award.

It is between JT and Alex Brown because Alex Brown played an amazing game against Tampa in a very meaningful game IMO.

It was nice to see JT have such a productive game after all the trade JT for a whatever pick talk floating around the site.

Yeah I was joking and I was :fire: ****** :fire: WHEN THEY GAVE THAT TO HIM.

Hate to say it because JT was immense yesterday, but Wesley's 3 ints for KC might get him the award. :(

Wesley should be thankful to Surtain. QBs avoid throwing to his side of the Field purposely, opening up opportunities for the rest of the secondary.
