Taylor won't have surgery

Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor not only will avoid surgery on his right shoulder, he told agent Gary Wichard on Tuesday he still hopes to play in the Pro Bowl on Feb. 13 in Honolulu.
''It looks good, so he's not going to need the surgery,'' Wichard said Tuesday night. Taylor had an MRI exam on his shoulder Monday after being hurt Sunday at Baltimore.
Taylor wore a sling Sunday and missed the second half of the loss to the Ravens. He said after the game he feared he had dislocated the shoulder. Wichard said the injury turned out to be minor.
