Jason Taylor: Night out on the town

I agree. This team looks way too happy after a loss . And especially being 0-2 . Even in high school , after a loss (which wasn't too often) players would be in a real bad mood for days, including me .

We see these guys wearing costumes, laughing and smiling the day after getting embarrassed at home to a division rival .. It's pathetic .

Their life is football.. They'd be nobodies without the game. And wouldn't have millions of $$ without it..

If they are so charitable, they can hold these functions during the offseason which is 7 months long . And if they are so charitable, they can just throw a fistful of dollars at it since they are millionaires..

These charity events only require the player to show up, with other people paying the tab to hang out with them.. If they were so charitable, take the money out from their own pockets instead of partying the day after an absolutely embarrassing loss at home.

We'll see how charitable these players really are when it involves big money from their own pockets, and not free food, drinks, girls and bowling at an alley.

If your a professional football player it is. That is great they were doing fundraising and all that, but save that crap for the offseason. I'm sorry, for me when its football season all these guys need to be practicing and watching tape. That is the difference between a team that is 0-2 and 2-0. These guys need time for the family and football that should be the extent of what they do during the season. If they keep this crap us though they will have all of January and Feburary to screw around.

No kidding! What digusting bums! They are out benefitting charity. What a bunch of no good losers.:shakeno:

Just so we have clear guidelines and none of the players can say they didn't know any better...after a loss are the players prohibited from leaving their homes or the football complex period or can they pick up something from the drive through?

Also, will they be allowed to play after a win or only when they are .500 or better?

If they finish the season 8-8 or worse, are they barred from having a social life until the next season (or they retire)?

Do any of y'all follow the same rules or is this just for football players only? If y'all mess up at work (and everybody does at some point), do you not go out until you "redeem" yourselves?

Absolutely not.. If I am an employee and my livlihood ,family(and mortgage) depends on my income, I do not go out partying and laughing in front of cameras with the whole company of co-workers when the company is failing miserably..

I hold serious meetings (not out dressed up like a friggin clown or a woman of all things) and work harder to attain my goals..

Well at least the Miami players held up the next day after the game at that party.. They looked like a bunch of clowns and girls on the field the day prior.

One thing I know is Randy takes loses worse then anything. He wants to win more then anyone. As for JT, he's a great player, but he let everything go way beyond his head. It's great he makes all this money, and has everything money can buy. But most of us on this board make 100,000 or less a year, and if we have season tickets, it's 1500-2000 dollars. Thats a pretty big chunk of our yearly income to watch our team go out and win. I don;t need to read about how great of life JT has.

You guys are embarassing. Its unbelievable how you guys think everything revolves around your wolrd. These guys get time off, and they spend that time off doing charity. Dont be so self envolved and selfish. We are all upset about loosing and this has nothing to do with us loosing. Nitpicking at everything will not get us anywhere.

You're holding those meetings at 11 PM on Saturday night? Tuesday is the players' "off day" in the NFL so by Taylor being out on Monday night, that's the rough equivalent.

So, now you're saying that he can have a social life but he just can't mingle with his co-workers? I agree that chemistry sometimes is overrated but you're taking it to a new level.

I agree with you PhinsDude and MasterEvaluator. Someone needs to be held accountable for the crappy play. I bet ZACH HAS BEEN WATCHING EXTRA FILM, HE ALWAYS DOES. If we had a Team full of Zach's and Wes Welkers, WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
