If you had to pick between the two which one would you rather have? Myself, I think I'm taking Jason Taylor. I loved watching him play... I also think he was the better overall player between him and Wake.

Better overall player? No doubt it was JT. This is not really an even comparison. This would be much more reasonable if you just asked which one was the better pass rusher. That's a little more on even ground.

JT could regularly wreck games. If cam evolves into a regular sack/strip/recover/touchdown, int for touchdown, forced fumble for touchdown, I will reassess

When Wake had the walk-off safety against Cincy in OT, that was the one time he did something game-altering that I recall. JT had a lot of moments like that. I remember a game we were getting whooped by a crappy Cincy team in the first half and the bungles were up 17-7 w about :20 left in the half. The Bengals had just called a run play and the crowd booed like mad. Everyone thought they would take a knee but inexplicably, they dropped back to pass (on own 25 or so) and JT flew off the edge, sack, strip, recovery and run back for TD. Momentum completely changed and Miami thumped them in 2nd half. That was classic JT.

There's no comparison... like none at all... That's like saying would you rather have Dwight Stephenson or Mike Pouncey.

A pro bowler to a HOF.

What's the next question, Marino or Tannehill?

Jt was a beast. Wake can't touch him

Like i said its JT no question, but i just hope that some of you who are saying that JT is a game changer and came up big in big spots arent the same ones who were whining about how our defense always folded in crunch time.... the same complaints everyone has about Wake people were saying about JT back then.

i hear you. I don't know how a guy who had over 100 career sacks and most TDs in history for a lineman could have possibly folded up in big moments. It's almost statistically impossible. To be honest, JT didn't at on many good teams. We only made the playoffs a few times when he played for us - and I'm sure he and Zach were big reasons we made those post season runs even though we weren't that good.
