I really hope miami dont get rid of him.. I think he is a great player even tho he is old. I think if he takes a pay cut miami will keep him. Taylor is a future hall of famer and i think he would be a good mentor on the younger players. I think miami should keep him next year. Thats just the way i feel about it.

Don't worry about Taylor he fits perfectly into Saban attacking style of defense. Unfortunitely, this maybe Zach's last season here.

They wont. Not to worry.

Taylor-Chester-Carter-Roth

Thats a terrific o-line with Bowens (Tim), Zgonina (maybe), Bowens (David- maybe), Holliday on 3rd down, Romero... rotating in.

Wow- we really did need to get younger on the d-line, and I like that Saban has addressed it. It was sort of an "underrated" need of ours- because a lot of people overlooked the AGE. With that said, Im happy Saban is not relying on Tim-Bo, not because he is a bad player, but because he just cannot stay healthy.

I meant d-line.. sorry, just so used to talking about the o-line.

:)

I think getting rid of Jt would be a big mistake...he is a leader of the team...When Ricky left he brought the team up and said dont worry about him lets just play football... He is the unnamed caption

I don't think this means he plans to get rid of JT. The d-lline was getting old. Look at the differnce in JT's production last year and when Wale was here. He may be the best DE in the league, but one guy can't do it alone. Besides, he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down yet.

I'll take an "old" proven 30 year old player at ANY position over a young 22 year old unproven player full of "potential" any day of the season.

As far as Jason Taylor being traded or released, I dont see it happening. Yet, I've said it before and I still believe that there is not a single player on the Dolphins 2004 season roster that I would be heartbroken to see go. The Dolphins mentality was shot from the day Wanny took over and it got worse every season. This squad needs to be rebuilt. Completely.

why destroy while you can easlily add? Dolphins olny need 1 or 2 players to become a playoff team

Maybe. Thats what Wanny and Jimmy said for ten years. However, I feel they need 20 players added to win a Super Bowl.
