Would make me really happy, I think he’s gonna be a big time Olineman he’s physical and nasty. Something we’ve been lacking on our Oline since Richie Incognito. I think if Ju’wan James Price gets crazy high he slides right in (not ideal because it’s not a net gain) and if we keep James, Taylor slides in at guard and dominates inside with ability to kick out if we have injuries. I’m a gators fan and have watched him for 3 years. Started early (freshman) was only a 3 star recruit, lost like 75 pounds to get into better shape to play at a high level, hard worker fits Flores mold for what he wants.

To play what position? RT
Unless you have a left handed QB, i don’t subscribe to the idea that you invest heavy draft capital or cap money on a RT.
When his rookie deal is up, if he becomes an really good RT are you going to pay him and Tunsil elite T money?

Strong pass on OL at 13. We can find an interior lineman in the second round. I like Lindstrom.

Edge, DT, LB, or CB.

I am always down for an OL.

I'd prefer a trade down barring an insanely high grade.

If we decided we want Tua For 2020 he’s a lefty and a dominant RT could be incredibly important. I also think he could be a probowl guard. It’s not a sexy pick but people have to realize the Kyler Murray pipe dream isn’t happening, and the top QB on the board when we pick is probably gonna be Daniel Jones (barf). I don’t think any of the corners are top 15 draft worthy, so unless a top De or DT falls to us Clelin Ferrell or Ed Oliver the most likely possiblities, Jonah Williams or Jawaan Taylor will most likely be our best options

I could see this scenario unfolding, especially if Miami signs Flowers in F/A. Miami may be looking at F/A as a way to get players who fit the system, who also have experience? As for Taylor, he'd instantly upgrade the RT position, over what James brought.

There is no guarantee the Phins will be in a position to draft Tua. As of right now that’s an even bigger pipe dream than Kyler Murray.
This strength of this draft is Dline. If the top guys are gone, the Phins would be better off trading down.

Even if we don’t go after Tua it doesn’t matter having a physical nasty blocking OL helps everything on the offense

If we can't get Ja'Wuan James signed then drafting Taylor would make a lot of sense since we don't have jack for a RT behind James.

Getting rid of James just to draft his replacement at 13 would make no sense.

I’m with you BUT I also believe Taylor is a significant upgrade at half the price. I still don’t like the idea but this is how I’d cope. LOL

I'd be cool with this but only if we traded back in the first to pick him and picked up and extra 2nd rounder or more.

if the team really wants to change the way they do things then drafting a RT at 13 is NOT the way to do it. Nothing against the player but at 13 you want QB,DE,Corner,LT or DT
RT has to come later on.
