I am a 17 supporter and have seen huge growth in him this season. He has unquestioned toughness and is starting to develop that leader mentality, but he still can't throw the deep ball.. For the fans that have been around as long as I have you may remember a guy by the name of Jay Fiedler.. He would have one to two games of awesomeness followed by a series of giant turd burgers.. Yes 17 played great today but the fact remains that he needs to put together a string of 5-6 games like this before we can be sold on him.. I hope he continues to improve at this rate, and we are finally seeing an OC get his ass out of the pocket and on the move something we as fans have been asking for since day one.. Keep it up RT17, I don't want to look back on another Jay Fiedler.. Here's to hoping this is an end to 14 year mediocrity, we need to get back in the drivers seat..

Sorry man, I can't recall a single game where Fiedler dropped dimes and lasers all over the field like that... And completely dominated the opposing defense, all without the benefit of Ricky Williams in beast mode

Knew it couldn't last, had to have another thread comparing Tannehill to some other QB. It took what an hr?

Good thread. Would read again.

I watched every game Jay Fiedler played here. He never had a game like Tannehill played today.

Jay Fiedler did not have the talent to play the way Ryan Tannehill played today.

When we talk about Ryan Tannehill and his potential and the reason why we want to be patient with him, it's because he can play like that. What you watched today was talent.
