Fiedler. Sure he lost this team some games because of his lack of real talent and for making some bad plays. Tannehill has lost games himself by just failing to show up and also has a penchant for really costly turnovers, even though its not at a hugely high rate, and he plays far worse than his stats by being a terrible situational QB.
Bottom line is that when the game was on the line, Fiedler generally found a way to man up and make game winning, clutch plays. It doesn't matter how pretty your throws are, you are a terrible QB and football player if you snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like Tannehill does.

Sadly I'd take Fiedler. And to add to the embarrassment of admitting that statement.... I'd take Wanny over Campbell too.
This is question is unfair. They are/were both horrid. Fiedler played above his ability at times. Tannehill plays beneath his. In the end they kind of wash out.
Fiedler had a much better team around him. The receiving corps are pretty close but Fiedler had a better O-line, running game and defense. Neither guy is elite but Tannehill is a more talented QB.
I really have no idea who is pick. Fiedler had the benefit of an elite defense and Ricky Williams for a number of years. Tannehill has a crap defense and although Miller is a VG RB he is no Ricky. It is safe to say that tannehill has regressed dramatically this yeat

This board is on fire today. Someone wanted to start Logan Thomas from here on out for **** sake. Now a Fiedler comparison. Give Tannehill Ricky Williams, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Patrick Surtain, Sam Madison, and Brock Marion and tell me the results.
