Fiedler to undergo shoulder surgery.

"The move might mean the end of his Jets career. Fiedler signed a one-year deal, and the Jets never really got a good look at what he can do. Plus, Pennington is also coming off season-ending shoulder surgery, leaving big questions at the position."

If he didn't get hurt every year, he would have had a nice career.

That's sort of like saying,"Apart from that Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

Good, now I'm confident that we can put away the Jets. If Fiedler was going to play I would be just a LITTLE more worried, that ******* would probably do his best to put us away.

If we can't beat Brooks flippin Bollinger, I'd say it's a safe bet that I'll be a little mad. Too bad though, b/c the Jets are looking at a Top 5 pick. Great

That's too bad. I always liked Jay Fiedler alot. He was a strong player. He played hard and gave us 110% every week and every play. I was hoping he's have success wherever he went. I still wish we wouldn't have gotten rid of him. He was better than Feeley and Gus. You can't dent that. sure, he made some piss poor passes but he also gave us alot of great games and 4th qtr comebacks.
Hard to believe, but in 2001, for 4th qtr performance, he ranked 1st in:

QB rating
TD passes
Come from behind victories
Yards

...granted, I guess we shouldn't have been behind that many times, but that's still a good stat. He was actually quite strong in the clutch. Just off the top of my head, some of his comebacks included

9/01 Raiders
12/01 Bills
12/00 Patriots (last game of season)
01/01 Colts in playoffs
Not sure which year but Sunday night game against Broncos
Sunday, or Monday Night game against Redskins (they pulled Griese out)

those are just a few off the top of my head. Gotta tell ya, He's better than anything we've had since Dan retired.

I don't know Sage Rosenfels vs. Brooks Bollinger isn't exactly like Dan Marino vs. AJ Feely.... lol.. I do think we should win though.. it basically comes down to Curtis Martin vs. Dolphins D & Ricky/Ronnie vs. Jets D.. so I think we win.

Yeah, and the Jets have done such a great job with those picks in the past
:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

Although, it does scare me that they could get Linart or Bush!
