I hope to see him infused into this offense ASAP. We need that juice in the running game. Mostert can still make plays when things are well blocked but that’s not going to be the case for most of the season.

We must unleash that kid on Buffalo, and keep it quiet all week.

I agree.....was a bit surprised he was inactive today....the kid can make plays for sure

Based on what is all this about Wright? What has he done to warrant all this hype?

Was he supposed to have had accomplished something in the NFL while still in College? Hard to follow your logic.

Dude was awesome at Tennessee and very electrifying in the preseason. We need that.

I'd rather have Wilson active and I'm not sure we need a 5th RB active when he has a similar skill set to mostert and Achane.

Maybe it’s undeserved, but he surely hasn’t done anything wrong to warrant the negativity either. It goes both ways, no?

I wonder if having him inactive him today was in part to keep him fresh for a debut on Thursday. I can only dream.
That would seem really stupid if the coaches actually went with who they thought was a worse player at this point. No game is more important than the current one at this point.

Well after the season Mostert had last year, he earned the start today. But circumstances have changed. Wright is an explosive player.

Kudos to Jeff Wilson for bringing some juice.

But we can’t give up a game to Buffalo right now.

Derrick Henry isn’t King Henty anymore either. It happens. Doesn’t mean they still don’t have value, it’s a long season.

That running room is stacked. Whoever they keep inactive will be missed on gamedays. His time will come. One of those backs will be banged up and need a week off to heal.
I also assume letting him rest in the beginning will reduce the chance of that rookie wall.
