I know that we just had the news about him getting cut, but what about his plantar fasciatis?? I dont think we every heard if he had surgery or what he did to correct the problem does anybody know?? Hopefully its healed by the time camp starts.

Tim Duncan of the Spurs has the same injury, and it is a reaccuring injury. Rest and staying off of the foot are the best things for it.

The injury would heal with time. It should be healed by now.

Actually that is not true. Wearing a "boot" while sleeping, then keeping the achilles tendon in that leg stretched will pretty much resolve it in most cases.

Yep..playing will not make it worse and the only way to heal is treatment and time...surgury need not apply....

Hopefully Jason will able to deal with plantar fasciatis...I know it just sounds like an insignificant foot condition, but for a DE you have to have great footwork.

By the way Sham nice pic in your avatar of my wife. :D

I've heard about Timmy's PF all season long, and all anyone has ever said about healing was, he needs rest. Plain ol' rest

Having mangled my left plantar fascia recently (strain and minor tear), I can certainly say firsthand that the best thing for it is rest.

And stretching before you go full speed on it.

And Advil. Ow.

Yes, I do know what a plantar fasciatis is, but everytime I hear about Jason's injury I imagine him planting his cleats upside that fascist's head that phinfan37 has in his avatar
