Trent Dilfer- A man that was a bust in The NFL!! Balti,ore Defense won him a Super Bowl not HIMM!!! Hes garbage!!

Akili Smith- Another loser QB!!! Poor mechanics!!!

Joey Harrington- Tedford Produce= ZERO

Kyle Boller- Given so many chances in TIMORE that he cannot live to the expectations!!

Aaron Rodgers- A Bust In The making!! Guaranteed!!!

David Carr- Another Bust!! LMAO

Billy Volek- Scrapppy!! Cannot even be a Starter

AJ Feeley- Superior Bust!! LOOL Sad

Mark Basotti!! The Curse started with this QB!! And it went on!!

umm he produces winners... his college programs usually perform pretty well because he puts his QBs in a system where they are successful...

hes coaching his players to win for whatever program hes in... hes not worried about how they will project to the other level, hes trying to win...

Agreed, and what does this have to do with this years draft, who is a Tedford QB?
 
yeah he normally wins alot in the college, and hes just good a coaching them for the college level
 
20,000 passing yards, a Pro Bowl and a Superbowl ring would colour you pretty ill informed about Dilfer.
 
There aren't any Tedford QB's in the draft right now. The reason he's still around is because his college programs are successful. And that's all colleges, the ones who actually hire him, look for. They could care less about the athletes' performances in the pros.
 
You can teach mechaincs, provide insight, and help improve knowledge and awareness of the position. But you cannot teach speed, strength, and will. Some players reguardless of sport or position have a desire to be great, others don't.

Just because the guys he has worked with (other than Dilfer) are not winners does not mean he is not a good teacher, it just means he is not a good motivator. And motivation is a 2-way street...
 
Win in your own job, let the other guy worry about his. Tedford's guys win for him and that is his priority.

Completely disagree with you on Dilfer - he was solid - not flashy - but solid.
 
I disagree about David Carr. He played behind an awful line in Houston. He never complained. He just got up and went back to work. It wasn't his fault what was going on in Houston. I would take him on my team any day. Carr is no bust.
 
Why is this in the draft forum? It has nothing to do with this year's draft.

Beyond that, everyone already knows this.

Dom...you've been on this board a long time, you're just figuring this out now ??

Seriously tho...it's pretty much a known fact, I thought...
 
Like everyone has already said, the guy is great at what he does, which is developing successful QBs on the college level. Your job as a coach (ANY coach) in the NCAA is to make the kids get YOUR PROGRAM wins, not get these kids ready for the NFL. In that sense, Tedford is excellent. So his Qbs don't transfer to the NFl very well, that isn't what he developes them to do, so it isn't HIS fault.
