He was all over the field yesterday, I think he should be a full time starter going forward.

Yes! I saw that too...and please stop the trusnik experiment. Dude cannot run...no he runs funny.lol!

I think we appreciate a banged up Ellerbe a little more now huh? Playing with an injured Shoulder last season got him a bad rap - I miss him and Misi right now

I was willing to start Jenkins from the start of the year and cut Wheeler post June 1. I would have kept Ellerbe at MLB and Misi at SLB.

Not saying it would have been better, but it was just my plan. Seems like the Misi move is better than my original idea.

Seems to have a nose for the ball and can diagnose plays presnap decently. I was watching the run D early because that was obviously a concern to start with and he was in the mix.

Jenkins appears to be our best coverage linebacker. Going forward, he should get opportunities to play as such. As great as it would be to have a linebacker who can force turnovers on a consistent basis, having a linebacker who can make tackles and neutralize the tight end is a very nice consolation prize.

He looks much improved and should stay in the starting lineup. I want to see more of Tripp playing with Misi and Jenkins.

Agreed, he did play very well. And man fisi I'm with you, I'm so tired of Trusnik. Not athletic enough at all to be in there so much. I realize we're down on options but we would honestly be better off with Wheeler in over him lol We could just play more of that 5-2, and have Jenkins/Wheeler or Jenkins/McClain, but hopefully Misi is healthy soon, will be a huge boost to get some health along with Jenkings showing up

Dont just look at his tackle numbers. He gets eaten up by blockers and cant even stick an arm out to slow down the runner.
He plays well in space and moves good but vs the run he is not there yet

you have been bullish on Jenkins. Good call.

I liked the screen he sniffed out and dropped the back as he caught the ball in the flat. Good read.

None of our LB's are a true MLB that can take the punishment of a full season.
There is no Zack Thomas, John Offerdahl, or Nick Buonoconti on this roster.
Apart from possible replacing RT (if he continues the Chad Henne path) with another franchise QB, it is our greatest need IMHO

Yeah we need to find a stud MLB in the draft.
