Just came here to post that, he is great, and I imagine if it wasn't for the pressure to play the huge contracts in Wheeler and Ellerbe, he may have been a starter last year.

It's really a microcosm of Ireland's GM reign, awesome late round gem, replaced overpriced free agent bust.

I think that's why Seattle brought him on to help with their draft.

Def not a starter last year, he was instinctive but weak at the point of attack.

On the other hand this year totally worth the praise he is getting. Bulked up, strong at the point, hits the hole heads up and can still run and cover as well.

He deserves it. If he hadn't stepped up things would be really, really dire with that wiped out LB corp. I love the way he's played. From game one he's been a stand out.

I hate to wish injury or be grateful for an injury, but Ellerbe getting injured gave Jenkins the chance he needed to show he can play. Hope he keeps it up

Always like to see when a player gets an opportunity, he rises up and grabs it with both hands. Well done Jenkins.

Curious to see who's next. I really would have liked to have seen Williams get the back up carries rather than Thomas - do think there's something there with him just waiting to burst out.
