JENKINS TO THE JETS​

The first of the several defensive tackles on the trade market have indeed been traded.​

According to John Clayton of ESPN.com and Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com, the Panthers have shipped defensive tackle Kris Jenkins to the Jets for a third-round and a fifth-round pick.​

In New York, Jenkins presumably will become a space-eating nose tackle in the 3-4 front, which means that his annual battle of the bulge will be a good thing, for a change.

Good trade for the Jets. Jenkins will be a monster at NT for them. Whats the deal with all of these pro bowl DT's being traded? I don't get it. Guys of their caliber are very hard to come by.

Damn I was hoping we'd make a play for this guy. Would def be worth a 3rd and a 5th. Guess we go after a DT in the draft, even if that rumor about Fergusen provides true.

PFT is reporting that Stroud is visiting the Bills. Thats not good. If they get him, that means two division rivals acquired pro bowl DT's who are still in their prime. If this happens, I really hope we get Rogers.

Salguero is reporting that the chances of us getting Rogers are slim to none. Looks like Tuna and Ireland will yet again go after one of their "Boys" and snatch Ferguson. But Im with you on Rogers.
