Jennings to the Vikings

Haven't seen any details on the contract yet, but given the rumor that Green Bay offered him a contract in the range of 10mil/year, I have to wonder if he just made a big mistake.

The Vikings suck, he's gonna have to play outdoors in Minnesota (probably the coldest place in inhabited North America in the winter), and who is going to be throwing him the ball? Ponder? Cassel?

I saw on nfl.com that Jennings rejected the patriots to sign for the vikings....that could have been rather unpleasent.

Patriots offered him 6 mill per year. Packers apparently only offered him a 3 year contract, and during the season they reduced the offer to 3 years/24 mil.

He got 5/47 from Minnesota so while the per year average makes it look like he screwed himself over badly based on the initial report that the Packers offered 10/year, he got more guaranteed money and a longer contract from the Vikings.

I don't blame him for wanting to cash in. He has the ring and he was money in that Super Bowl.
