Jermichael Finley said he is not willing to take a pay cut in order to stay with the Packers.

Finley is in the second year of a two-year, $14M deal. His 2013 compensation is scheduled at $8.25M. "I'd have to walk for sure, meaning I couldn't take a pay cut," he said. "Maybe I'd restructure if it's a deal that I like and it makes sense, but I'm not the guy that's just going to sign anything and let anything pass." Finley said he's "barely" talked to the Packers since the season ended and has no idea what their plans are for him. His $3M roster bonus is due March 27.

We definitely need a seam threat TE so Finley is a no-brainer if the Packers cut him. Hopefully Philbin likes him and we sign him or Dustin Keller or Martellus Bennett.

As well as the Philbin/Green Bay connection, you may not be aware that Jarvorskie Lane is Jermichael Finley's half brother. You only have to look at their faces to see the resemblance. Don't be surprised if Jarvorskie encourages Jermichael to become a Dolphin.

A 25 yr old seam threat tight end that has made tons of plays in the NFL so far.. Yeah, i'm interested.

You know Philbin is watching this situation very very closely.

Everybody whines about Hartline all the time but Finley isn't exactly a proficient scorer.....give me Martellus for a bit cheaper. Then I want James Casey on a cheap contract.
