Jerry Jones..are you reading this?

I know if McFadden falls, he is not getting passed Oakland. That would be a great pick for the Raiders and that gives them their franchise RB. They already have their franchise QB, so McFadden makes perfect sense. This news will really get Jerry Jones listening and really get him to think about making a move if he hasnt already. If he wants McFadden, he will trade with Miami for the #1 pick.

I completely agree with ya about McFadden not getting past Oakland at 4 in this years draft. The only other arguments you can make for Oakland is to pick Jake Long (who will most definitely not be available at 4) because there O-Line is fading. Also, you can make the case they could use a big body in the middle of there defense, but with all the major money they spent on there defense this off-season i'm not too sure that happens either.

I really dont see Dallas trading up that high to get McFadden, but if some strange scenario were too happen, why would they trade up to the top when they could possibly trade to either St. Louis or Atlanta (they both could use as many picks as they could get)?

Not a shock, David always had a hard on for these kinds of guys. It wouldnt be a bad move, but Fargas is a burner with big play ability, just didnt get to break many before he got hurt.

I think they would take Chris Long ahead of McFadden, if not, its hard to imagine him passing the Raiders.

Wow, if Jamarcus plays well the Raider's might be a sleeper team...

So we just need to convince Atlanta to trade up with us for Matt Ryan, then we'll be in great position to trade out again for Dallas. That would be a great way to get this thing going in the right direction again.

This could be me but i really think theres no shot jones trades all the way up to #1. I think everyone here hopes he does but i think any trade he makes to move up to #1 spot is a bad trade for dallas and thats why i dont visualize a trade happening. Why would he give up all the picks plus possibly players for a position they have a top 10 player at. Everyone is all obsessed with oh he wants an arkansas guy, but in reality he would be better off staying put and if he really wanted to take a rb from arkansas he should take felix jones with one of his first rounders, he actually would complement barber better and also add a big returner. Why would he want to take on that salary especially at rb with such a short shelf life and not a huge area of need for a star player.

He may not have to trade up to the first pick...what about the 3rd pick....or the 5th pick? If Parcells trades back to either of them...the Cowboys can easily make a trade up then. Barber doesn't have to be involved in the trade...the 22nd, 28th and a 5th rounder this year and a 2nd rounder next year would be fine.

If we move down a little then I guess theres a shot a trade could get done, but I just think alot of this talk that jones wants to trade up and will do anything to get mcfadden is a fallacy, I think theres a degreee tha he would be interested but a trade with the dolphins for the #1 pick doesnt seem like a likley scenario that would interest him at the least. I think jones made a few comments months ago about mcfadden and since us fans desperatley want to trade down we hold onto something that might not be reality anymore. But us moving down to the 3-5 range alone is along shot to happen, so im guessing forecasting anything after that fact would just be an even longer longshot so any discussion about that would just be wayyy premature.

I just dont think jones and the coyboys are as interested as alot of people think as far as moving down, this is a deep year for rb and if they stay put they can get a realy good rb with 1 of they're 1st, if thats in fact the way they want to go.
