Nah, our cap was messed up because the huge contracts were restructured and then the players cut, accelerating those cap hits.
When Aponte was here, we gave out huge contracts every season and we never had cap issues. It was when Tannenbaum got here and restructured everything on top of throwing money around like he was a rapper in a strip club. It’s why I roll my eyes when random people whine about paying our own players. The money works itself out with good cap people and some discipline.
