Well, for a lot of New York football fans, the ultimate '"Wouldn't it be great if" is a Jets- Giants Super Bowl. As of last Sunday, however, it's time to cross it off the list. That's because this is no longer only a fantasy-based proposition. The way the Jets rolled over the Titans showed that they are actually an elite team, that they are actually good enough to make some noise in the playoffs and get all the way to the big game.

Yes, the Jets are actually good enough to make it to the Super Bowl.

What would they do if the Giants and Jets had to host conference title games on the same day?

Both play in Giants Stadium, and usually the conference title games are at like 3pm and 6pm. If they're both hosting them that would be hell.

With the way both teams are playing. How did the Jets lose to Oakland and the Giants to the Browns. The AFC is wide open. I think the only team that can rise up and challenge the Giants is the Cowboys. They've got a few weeks to get it back together. Though clearly the Giants are the overwhelming favorite in the NFC. In the AFC any team that makes the playoffs has a chance with exception the AFC West winner.

If the Giants and Jets both get homefield that would be really interesting.

It happened in 1995 though it was the WC rd and not the Conf Championship Rd. The Jets played on saturday and the Giants on Sunday. They are talking about moving the NFC Title Game to Monday night since the AFC is slotted into the 6PM slot on Sunday OR possibly moving it to Saturday evening. I HOPE it happens but there's a long way to go to catch Tennessee.

Damn, i was hoping they'd just make the Jets forfeit
