The best? I wouldn't go that far but our D has all the pieces to be one of the better D's in the NFL plus we have the coaching to go along w/ it.

They probably have the most talent on their defense and their scheme is par with the dominant D's of the league.

There's certainly potential for all 4 teams to have very good defenses. Buffalo jumped about 12 spots in overall defense last season, and that was with zero pass rush. If Schobel stays healthy and Maybin turns out to have a good year, we could be right in the mix of things with Miami, and NYJ defense.

Im sure glad Vrabel is gone, I think he was a huge part of the defense.

As for the Jets being the best D this year, we will see. I was shocked looking at the stats and seeing all 4 teams were top 16 defenses last year. I think all of them should be better this year except NE.

I really think they will have a hard time replacing Vrabel.

They'll be okay without Vrabel, he didn't contribute much last year. Still it would be nice to have someone to play opposite Adalius. The upgrades at CB will help, though.

The jets defense has potential to be one of the best in the league, cant argue that. With Rex Ryan and the players they have, their gonna be tough.

Mike pettine is our new DC, he was the LB coach for Baltimore.

I wouldnt be so quick to say that, look at the other D-coordinators to come out of Baltimore and become HC....none of them have masterminded a dominating D. Cam was supposed to bring our offense to life too....
