So with talkin of Saban going to MSU after the season, if he leaves who would want Jim Bates as our new head coach. The players loved him, he had us playing with heart and discipline as our interim head coach, we always had great defenses with him as a Defensive Coordinator, and we even beat the Pats who were 14-1 to end the season 4-12. (3 of our 4 wins that season were under him.)

This talk of saban leaving is annoying, and no, we beat st. louis with dave still being the head coach. Sry, Dont mean to be rude, but the saban talk is just flat out bugging me.

I thought Jim Bates did a great job as interim coach

im not buying any talk of saban leaving until i actually see it happen, im sorry but its too early to already start thinking who our replacement is going to be for a coach that isnt going nowhere...dont worry we wont need a coach saban will be here for a bit longer

let's see, $5 million a year, vs. $1.5 million a year. Max. I think he'll stay.

well saban might have took the job for 2 years to equal 8 years of pay ching ching ....honestly saban didn't wanna come to the pros the only thing that lured him there was duh 5 mil a season and basicly full control over the team if i remember right wane h. had to fly out to louisiana twice and i think he decide on x-mas day ..at the time i thought it was my best x-mas present

If he wants to come back and coach the Defensive Line or Secondary fine. Capers is doing fine and hopefully will be here for awhile. I'm not even going to bring up the possibility of him replacing Saban, as I feel thats a bit farfetched.

Saban isn't goning anywhere. This is the job he always wanted. He's in for the long haul, or untill he's giving the boot. If MSU was his dream job, why did he leave? Think about it!
