In answering a question regarding the Dolphins, Jim Miller had alot of positive aspects to say.

First he started off by saying how Miami Dolphins fans were very upset about the Ginn pick, however, we really shouldnt be because is and Ginn will be a great threat for us now and in the future with his ability to blow past corners and safeties, stretch defenses and how he will make our offense and vertical passing game as well as our special teams, well, special...

He mentioned how he LOVES Beck and Beck reminds him of Marc Bulger with his accuracy and ability to hit recievers in stride...

Stated how we have a dominant but aging defense that will "bring it" every week with our front 7, whom he mentioned was one of the best in the league. He said how our front seven will have to carry the defense because of our secondary and will help the team win games.

He said he likes Ronnie Brown and we should see him get very good this year.

He stated how we have to be careful in third down situations in that last year we had a good % of converting on 3rd and 6 or shorter, but in 3rd and 7's that percentage decreased drastically to the point that it was nowhere near 3rd and short conversions.

In the end both he and Adam Shine saw us going 8-8 and because of our OL issues and we would be fighting for 2nd in the division with the Jets...

Uh huh, now compare that to this piece of work.....
Miami Dolphins (Last Year: 6-10)

Veteran Additions:
FB Cory Schlesinger, TE David Martin, OT Mike Rosenthal, OLB Joey Porter, K Jay Feely.
Draft Picks:
QB John Beck, RB Lorenzo Booker, RB Reagan Mauia, WR Ted Ginn, C Samson Satele, C Drew Mormino, DE Abraham Wright, NT Paul Soliai, ILB Kelvin Smith, P Brandon Fields.
Major Subtractions:
RB Sammy Morris (NE), RB Travis Minor, RB Darian Barnes, WR Wes Welker (NE), TE Randy McMichael (STL), OT Damion McIntosh (KC), G Bennie Anderson, G Kendyl Jacox, G Jeno James, G Toniu Fonoti (ATL), C Seth McKinney, DE Kevin Carter (TB), DE David Bowens (NYJ), DT Jeff Zgonina (HOU), DT Dan Wilkinson, P Donnie Jones.

Analysis: I could be wrong about Trent Green. I might off regarding my predicted decline of Miami's defense. Perhaps new head coach Cam Cameron will get his team to overachieve, much like Eric Mangini and the Jets. I really doubt it though. What I see is an offense that hasn't improved, paired with an aging defense that is bound to take a step backward this year. I think it's going to be a long season in Miami.

Projection: 2-14 (4th in the AFC East)

It would seem that we are at two different ends of the spectrum on this subject. I believe the piece of work I was talking about was written by a rival fan, so obviously there couldn't be the slightest bit of objectivity to it. Therefore a waste of time.

Soooooo, what are you trying to say? You and I are on different sides of the spectrum? How would this be as I did not give my opinion on anything? This second synopsis...Is TOTALLY laughable

I'm talking about the opinions of the two different articles. Want to laugh some more? Here's what the same guy had to say about that outstanding 31st ranked offense in the league last year....

The main reason for the Bills' late-season surge was the dramatic improvement of J.P. Losman. During that seven-week span, Losman completed more than 65 percent of his passes four times, tossed at least two touchdowns the same amount and compiled more than 230 yards thrice. In November and December, Losman threw 13 scores to only eight picks. It took him a while, but Losman has become a legitimate starting quarterback in this league.

One of the best players in the NFL that no one talks about is Lee Evans. The fourth-year wide out recorded 82 receptions, 1,292 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 2006. He notched those numbers with a struggling quarterback the first two months of the season, and finished really strong, including a 265-yard performance at Houston on Nov. 19. It's just too bad Evans doesn't have a legitimate No. 2 wide out by his side; Peerless Price, Josh Reed and Roscoe Parrish are as mundane and mediocre as it gets. Losman could also use a decent, pass-catching tight end. I have no idea why Marv Levy didn't sign or draft one.

Another Bill who will help Losman is rookie running back Marshawn Lynch. I'm often skeptical of first-year players, but Lynch seems to have the talent to eclipse the 1,000-yard rushing plateau, which is something Willis McGahee failed to do in 2006. Even if Lynch isn't as great as all the draft gurus project him to be, he still should have a fair amount of success behind Buffalo's stout and deep offensive front. The line, led by left tackle Jason Peters, is as biggest and meanest the NFL has to offer. Lynch will have tons of running room on the left side, as Peters and guard Derrick Dockery will pave the way. Newly signed Langston Walker is an upgrade over Terrance Pennington at right tackle, and should definitely help decrease Losman's sack total of 47.
Gosh the rest of the AFC doesn't stand a chance!!:sidelol:

My bad...

Yeah, the second one was def written by a bills or jets fan

Pretty funny since according to what he said today, the Bills will be at the bottom of the AFCE

to be really i think that if dolphins wins the easy game that we pick them to win i can see them 10-6. the jets doesnot have as much talent as dolphins they got a better qb and they win all of the easy game last yr on thier schedule....
qb are even this yr. dolphins will put up point..... it should be between jets and dolphins for the 5or 6 wild card spot this yr....

Hopefully we will just have a spot locked up...but there are still alot of other AFC teams that will be fighting for that spot as well...

KC, Denver, Cinci, maybe Jags..Shoot, maybe even Tenn.

This is probably true for nearly every team in the league, and I doubt the difference between our 3rd and short conversions and our 3rd and 7 or greater conversions is significantly different from the league average difference.

Our defensive line is thin unless some rookies step up. Line backers look very solid and secondary is still suspect. Offensive is brand new and will take time to gell especially the offensive line. Special teams plus the head coach/ offensive coordinator are unknown quanities at this time. Can we win 10 games sure but more than likely it will be the other way around this year until we can figure all the new stuff out and hopefully build some depth.

Our offensive line is going to make or break us this year. I'm believing the Phins will top .500 this year.

Who knows? Maybe we do a little better then that prediction.

Right now i'm more interested in getting everyone into camp ontime and missing the TC injury bug.

I've never seen a prediction win a single game, those are won out on the field, and we have talent, the O-line may have more depth then people are predicting, with Liewinski and Ingraham and maybe Kendall if we get him.

It's definitely a fair assesment. You can't really predict the Dolphins to do big things next year because of all of the offensive question marks, but you can't really say they are going to fall flat on their face either. 8-8 is more than fair for any objective source to predict.
Let's hope the quesiton marks turn into certainties and we kick some ***.
