Jim Nantz IS DISGUSTING!!!

I have been out of town since Monday, and didn't have a chance to see if anybody else commented on how badly Nantz was rooting for his Patriots against the Jets! I know they were talking about it on local talk radio and some of my Stiller friends texted me about it. I hate both teams but as the CBS lead announcer I have never seen or heard such unprofessionalism in a call of an NFL game ever!!!He was sooo upset at the end of the game and was blatantly obvious and disgusting!! He was so upset his Brady was ousted!!Simms didn't get to me as much. I don't know? I thought it was pathetic and I don't understand how you can take CBS seriously when they cover the AFC and have this clown calling every Patriot game like they are Notre Dame on NBC!!! CBS should tell him to leave his favortism and man crush on Brady at the door!!! AFC GO BACK TO NBC!!!!
 
I have no idea what your talking about. I wasn't really paying attention to the analysts.. what was some of the stuff he said?
 
He's referring to the bit where the Jets scored the game winning touchdown and how they were celebrating with Rex Ryan.
 
who cares? the broadcasts would be much more interesting if the 2 guys were biased...one for each team. I wasn't really listening as we were all bitching about the Jets ourselves, but I'd rather he's pro-patriot than pro-jet all day long. As if his professionalism is really an issue or in question after all these years when he's talking about a football game.
 
Not really sure what the big deal was. Hell, I was rooting for the Patriots to beat the Jets...and I hate the Patriots.

Journalism and sports broadcast are very different. You are not required to be neutral as a sports broadcaster. You're allowed to have an opinion!
 
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are my favorite CBS crew.

I didn't notice any bias in either of them, but hell, I really wasn't listening to them.

What does this have to do with the Dolphins? lol I remember ( I think Dierdorf) just flat out saying the dolphins just aren't a very good team. I think he said that in the PIT game. What I don't like about announcers is how they constantly overhype players and coaches. Every week a different player is the "fastest player in the league" or the "smartest player at this position" or the best coach at doing this or that.

How untolerable is FinHeaven at times with the split between the Henne lovers and Henne haters and the Sparano lovers and the Sparano haters? You really want to be sitting on your couch yelling because two bumbling idiot analysts are arguing over which team is better lol?
