I know it's a little late, but what did everyone think about Jim Rome's comments earlier this season about the dolphins?

for those who don't know, basically he wanted to see them go winless. don't ask me why, I'll probably never really understand why, even if I listened to his take a hundred times. I guess he was trying to be inspirational, like saying, "come on guys, you only need to lose a few more." I still didn't think he was THAT serious, but when they won, I figured out it did mean a lot to him.

The whole thing was pretty rediculous, I mean why would you want to see a team go winless?
 
I like Rome. I think he's hilarious.

But he was dead serious. He wanted us to lose them all. And he was absolutely crushed when we didn't.
 
I think he's funny. I like his radio show better than TV.
He didn't care that it was the Dolphins... he's been waiting for any team to go winless.
It just so happens that the Dolphins we're that team this year.
 
Because, Jim Romme hates. That's what he does, and unfortunately, getting on your soap box and hating is the current trend in our society. He likes to say quick little cute remarks that try and tear down people.

I have zero use for people like that.
 
He is really an interesting phenomenon. I mean, you take a guy with absolutly zero talent, yet he becomes entertaining, although in small doses for me.

I did catch the Monday after show on the Radio. He was almost in freaking tears..and I was laughing very hard.

He doesnt really have it out for the Dolphins, although he does call out the '72 phins when they pop champagne every year (Not any more)..and he is VERY arrogant..and it really is the people that call in that make his show ..but still hard to not tune in sometimes...
 
Jim Rome is a self-absorbed delusional douche bag. The sound of his voice makes me want to shove freshly sharpened pencils into my ear holes. Yes I said ear holes, and if you were wondering, yes the pencils are no. 2.
 
Jim Rome is an absolute jack off.He is so much of a biatch.I hate that Phagggg.Always dissing someone and always are team.I shut the TV off after NFL primetime when he comes on.He is a joke.

Rome is a jerk. I have no use for any of his oppinions.

Yes. A fitting ending to that interview would have been: "Jim Everett, in the television studio, with a tennis racquet."

I used to think I would only wish a winless season on my worst enemy. Having come so close to one, I'm not sure I even feel that way anymore.

Unless it's New England in 2008.
