I could not be happier with 7th round pick Jimmy Wilson. The young man was all over the field last night. Kid has playmaker written all over him. We saw Wilson blitz, we saw him in the nickle, he batted passes, he got a sack, forced a fumble, the kid just gets it and the Fins know it too. I believe the way Nolan was blitzing him shows that Nolan has confidence in this kid. Wilson finished the night with 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble and made the biggest impact of all of Miami's rookies.

Will Allen's job is in serious jeopardy if Miami sticks with Wilson at corner. Shoot not even Benny Sapp should feel like his job is safe with the way Wilson played and Sapp had a good game last night. I have heard the stories of Zach Thomas in camp when he was a rookie and they remind of the type of camp and preseason Wilson is having. Great pick by Jeff Ireland and awesome addition to our Miami Dolphins.

I think sean smith will be starting CB at perimeter...ouch.

jimmy wilson is going to be jim jenson on defense. That dude invented a new position. He will be asked to do alot of stuff in our defense no doubt. I dont want to say something this early, but could this guy be Palomolu?

Right on Sapp has Will Allen beat right now and Wilson is improving his chances.

Man I know they moved Wilson to CB, but I still got the impression that he was playing safety last night. Maybe he is playing more of a "rover" all over the place type of position.

Wilson should replace sean toast smith. The secondary would be much better with wilson starting opposite vontae.Wilson is ready to start, hes a rookie but hes 25(when do you wanna see him starting when hes 28????) years old already and not a liability. If we are going to rely on our D to win games, toast smith just cant be the starter or the D wont bail us out.More fans should see this as well....

Jimmy needs to replace Nolan Carrol right now, Nolan was getting used and abused last night...

Only position Wilson did not play last night was QB, lol. Kid was everywhere and I loved it.

I said to myself last night "this guy is going to be our version of Polamalu."

Jimmy Wilson really impressed me last night. He was all over the field, definite play maker. Its funny how terrible our secondary was back in 06-07 and now we have so much depth that its exciting to see how the battles will turn out. This Front Office may have been a failure so far as far as getting a QB and other pieces on offense, but they have built a very good defense.

Another unit that is super deep is WR, I was worried about the unit, but after seeing our receivers perform last night the unit is really good. Fins are going to have headaches when they have to decide who they cut at CB & WR.

Yea man our WR's are very deep as well. Bess, Marshall, Wallace, Moore, Hartline, and now Gates man its gonna be fun lol. I've been telling people if we only had a good QB last year, we would have won 10 games easy. Cleveland, Detroit, and the first NE game come to mind.

Being deep at WR can only help our running game. If Chad can can step it up teams will fear our passing game for the first time in a long time.
