Indeed I agree. I was looking forward to seeing what Jimmy Wilson can do and he lived up to expectations. Granted he was playing vs the 2nd and 3rd team, but this guy was all over the field.

Not a new position necessarily, but he could be what's called a Roving Safety. Patrick Chung played that when he was at Oregon. Guys like that are dangerous because they're so damned versatile and can do it all from the back seven.

Nolan was covering Julio Jones and Roddy White. If he didn't keep a cushion he could've gotten burned. The safety help from Culver was also suspect on some of Carrol's assignments.

That said, Wilson had the vision to jump other WR's routes and put himself in a position to make a play on SOMEONE ELSE's assignments. That's awesome. Also, his burst is crazy. I hope he makes the team.
 
I said this in Armando's live game blog, last night; in the Miami Herald, that if, Jimmy Wilson makes the team, i can hear the Stadium erupting into Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy, chants!!!
 
I watched the post-game interview with him on miamidolphins.com and I love his attitude. He is a yes sir/no sir kind of guy...and he knows how to play to his strengths. He is physical and explosive. Im not ready to anoint this guy the "next coming" or anything like that, but he has certainly showed promise and that is about as good as you can ask for from a 7th rd pick.

He did look good. I think he raised the level of play in the secondary.
 
His playing style reminds me of Roy Williams, I hope come week 1 he's in the rotation.
 
I hope Jimmy Willson becomes the Dolphins Polamalu on defense. It would be nice to be rock solid up the middle of that D for years to come like the Steelers and Ravens.

Did he fall from the sky or did our garbage *** GM did he's job in finding this gem. Because you know since he's the worst GM in the league, I could fathom him acquiring talent this..
