Just a thought on how everyone feels about the possiblity of Vikings testing the waters, now that it's appears they may be all in on Darnold. Most of us can all agree now that Tua just isn't a reliable option for us given his injury history. Also with Ross being a Michigan guy, I honestly think he'd be open to making a push for it if the price is right.

I mean it seems dumb they would stil get rid of mccarthy since he's on a rookie contract and aren't paying him much even if they keep darnold

It’s definitely something I haven’t given a thought to before you suggested it.

The Vikings have an interesting situation brewing that’s for sure. McCarthy may never have a season as good as what Darnold is doing this year.

Ya but if think Darnold is the better QB and worth building around, you could still get a valuable asset for McCarthy.

Yeah let's replace our QB who has the injured label with the rookie QB that was injured all year, that has nearly missed as many games as Tua has....brilliant.

And that doesn't even bring in the fact he was overdrafted and wasn't a prolific passer in college.

He won't be available. Even if they sign Darnold they'll keep him.
