As per Armmando from the Herald. The Cowboys claimed him on waivers. Could be a move the Dolphins regret.

Berger sucks we have plenty of other young offensive lineman like Fonoti and Alabi.

kinda funny as soon as i seen the title berger claimed i knew it was gonna be by the cowboys. there olines story is much like ours this year. it kinda sucks to see berger gone since he seemed pretty solid.

how does everyone turn into berger haters now. weeks ago everyone wanted him and talked about his great potential.

Journeyman on a Journey, that's all.

Oh, talk to me next year, if Berger is starting for the Pokes and having a great year, it was a mistake. Right now you just figure they need depth at that position and Berger was around.

Right, because Fonoti is so reliable with his weight issues and we've seen a lot of Alabi to judge him. :shakeno: Saban himself said they wanted to re-sign him after temporarily releasing him. When you're weak at any position, you don't want to see guys leave and leave you even thinner.

hardly knew the guy

seriously, maybe I'm missing something here, but there was there not a point where Berger was healthy, and they still opted to play Jacox over him?

I think he gets a little too much pub around here for a guy who's bounced from one practice squad to the next.

yep

Despite intentions to re-sign Dolphins guard Joe Berger following his release Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys decided they weren't willing to let that happen.
Berger is headed to Dallas today, where the Cowboys claimed Berger off waivers and signed him to the 53-man roster as a backup center.
The move likely comes as a surprise to the Dolphins, who had been grooming Berger as a future impact player on the line.
