He's just another option to solve our reciever needs. He said he wants to play for a contender, though. Do you think he will be a dolphin, or else where?

Well if they were interested in Terry Glenn you'd think they would have to be interested in Horn but in the end, Sean Payton is a big "friend of the program" and Joe Horn blasted Payton and they did not like each other...so I doubt Ireland/Parcells will like the idea of Joe Horn.

Yeah but Terry Glenn was looked at largely in part to his familiarity with the system and the front office personnel, even some of the coaches. Joe Horn doesn't have any of that, plus he is WAY over the hill. If he lands with anyone, it will be for a novelty reason. Like KC bringing him back or another non-contender who just wants to bring in a name.

which Joe horn are we talking about?

the Joe Horn who:

A) is 36 years old
B) hasn't played 16 games since 2004
C) hasn't topped 50 catches since 2004
D) hasn't topped 700 receiving yds since 2004
E) has 6 total TD's since 2004
F) has been more attitude than production since 2004
G) hasn't been healthy all of training camp
H) the Joe Horn of 2004

If we can get H, sign me up.....otherwise, I'll pass

Interesting you should say.. I was thinking that Horn could be divisive in the locker room if we playoff bound. Remember he signed with Atlanta before the Mike Vick fiasco.

That being said, he's on the 'where are they now' files IMO. He didn't do jack last year. But then who knows. We have room on the roster, it wouldn't hurt bringing him in for a look see. Im sure Cincy is thinkin the same thing.

Im all for solid veteran additions, but this is not what I had in mind. Joe Horn is pretty close to done. Doesn't help much. Would much rather have Glenn once he's right physically.
