If Tua played in any other era of football, he would be eating Jello through a straw, watching re-runs of Sponge Bob in the day room of a rehab facility. In 2025 he is, but not in the 70's.

Tua is a smurf QB and his last name is not Brees, or Doug Flutie.Keep digging that hole, Marino.
Darnold is 6'3", has mobility and a strong arm and has made adjustments and learned from past failures.
Tua has none of those attributes.
Notice any differences?
Have you looked up the meaning of erupting in the dictionary?Gotta love the crowd erupting when he says they are gonna look at other QBs.
Haha! I liked Matt Moore too. He was a gunslinger and he could win games coming off the bench.Never has one QB done so little and gotten so much credit
He's between Fiedler and Matt Moore in the pantheon of Miami QBs. I definitely liked Matt Moore better because he made plays not excuses. I can not wait until Turndaballova is back on the other coast
He was a fine athlete coming out of Purdue.I remember a game years ago where the Dolphins were absolutely trouncing Brees and the Saints, I believe in NO. Huge 2nd half comeback and Brees ran one in and dunked the football over the goalpost like you see athletic TE's commonly do. At his height with full gear on that really left an impression on me.
Darnold has excellent qb athleticism to navigate the pocket and get out of trouble, and his vision while doing so is what sets him apart.Darnold was not coached up with the Jests. In Minny he did much better. He was always athletic enough, unlike Tua.
Wasn't he a top 5 draft pick?Darnold has excellent qb athleticism to navigate the pocket and get out of trouble, and his vision while doing so is what sets him apart.
Really talented qb at its foundation
YesWasn't he a top 5 draft pick?
You know what one of my favorite songs of all time is.....ICE ICE BABY...VANILLA ICE ICE BABY. I love it more today than I did in 90's !!!Stand up like a man, take the rip, admit you didn’t put in the work and say you will do everything possible to win us back
I don’t get itYou know what one of my favorite songs of all time is.....ICE ICE BABY...VANILLA ICE ICE BABY. I love it more today than I did in 90's !!!
I think he was referencing that that song had a riff in it that was claimed by another artist. I seem to remember hearing about this. Don't remember if it went as far as a lawsuit, or not. I guess he was referencing your statement "Stand up like a man, take the rip, admit you didn’t put in the work".I don’t get it
Not trying to say I told you so but...you keep trying to make a sculpture out of a pile of ****.It’s entirely applicable. This isn’t rocket science here. We’ve seen multiple QBs look significantly better in better situations. That’s the formula.
It’s not 100% and not every qb will do better but that’s the common factor here. If we’ve seen it happen for guys that looked way worse than Tua did last year, I don’t think it’s an unreasonable take that it’s possible.
We don’t have specifics as well so nothing to really take into account. Do you have specifics that aren’t released? No you have speculations.
This can’t be true, the Carpet Dinosaur said there were a lot of teams interested in trading for Tua.Not trying to say I told you so but...you keep trying to make a sculpture out of a pile of ****.

Despite the Dolphins' hopes and best attempts, there appears to be 'no trade market' for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa...www.profootballrumors.com
That is closer to reality than anything youve stated...
