Interesting interview:

Joe has always been a big fan of Fasano off the field, I believe he has even said that bullygate would never have been allowed to happen if Fasano was still in the lockerroom

His wife and kids lived in Miami already so it was an easy decision. Stayed close friends with Tannehill who spoke highly of Gase

Apparently Fasano and Tannehill hang out in a woodshop in the off season. I can just picture two multi millionaire NFL players building birdhouses

Admits that there were tough times and problems under Ireland/meatball/Phillin and this influenced his choice to leave

I liked Fasano back in the day, and I saw him a bit in Tennessee. He is a good back up and an average starter at this point in his career. We could do way worse for our TE2.

I'm surprised he was willing to say that. Usually guys will tapdance around that subject.

Birdhouses, lol.

Woodworking these days is very much up a rich person's alley, if you're inclined to the craft. Like most hobbies dudes engage in, there's a lot of expensive and lustworthy equipment involved.

This makes me remember the story from the poster here (I want to say it was royalshank?) who went to some Super Bowl event and watched the game with Tannehill and a couple of other players.

Apparently he got really defensive about the IKEA assembly foulup that was shown on Hard Knocks.

I can't help imagining Fasano on one side of the door and Tannehill on the other...

"Do you wanna build a birdhouse....it doesn't have to be a birdhouse"

Players loving Miami. Players taking less money to stay. Players speaking confidently of the QB, head office and coaching staff. What the **** is going on???

I missed this thread :(

It is almost like we are a professional organization again.

Fasano and Stills have spoke highly of RT17 today. There is belief in the QB.

and Gase took Ryan's recommendation to heart.

Yet unbelievably there are still "some" on here who, despite all evidence to the contrary directly from "the horse's mouth" insist that Gase had Tannehill foisted on him as a provision of being offered the job... and that his vocal support of RT17 is just an empty regurgitation of the party line. Go figure :idk:

Glad to have the old man on the team. He brought a hardworking spirit to this team that felt similar, at least to me, to how Dan Campbell might have tried to build his team had he gotten a head coaching job.

When and where did Stills say anything positive about the qb.

Interview the other day. twitter @PFT_live "I have so much confidence in Ryan. He's going to get right and we will keep on rolling"

(Im at work cant screenshot for ya, but you can look it up, lot of dolphins twitter retweeted it.)

Was after he resigned.
