Take out Game 2, against the Jets... and you can see a steady pattern of improvement. Joey played great against Detroit. Hopefully he will have more games like that.

I think it's pretty clear that he is constantly improving, mentally and physically. He still has a lot to learn though.

I can't say he's the QB of the future until he helps us win out and takes us deep into the playoffs this year. :D
Regardless, Joey has played admirably in the face of adversity this season.

Joey's been a good backup for us this year. He's come in and won some games. 4 in a row is nice. Let it continue please.

For his first year in this system and out of the West Coast, he's done a pretty good job. If he keeps getting better Daunte will be fighting hard for a starting job next year. By the end of the season Daunte may be the underdog in the competition next year for starter.

He's played better and the team as a whole has improved as well.

But even if he somehow managed to get the starting job next year, Romo still looks better over in Dallas and he was undrafted. Joey is a first round pick.

He SHOULD be playing well based on where he was drafted.

Joey is our best shot. Let him play out the year and see how he does. He has only gotten better.

it is absolutely rediculous for some of u people to sit here and say that joey harrington has proven himself and that he wont garner respect unless he helps us "win out". i have news for you, that isn't the least bit fair on joey's part. he has played tremendoulsy for being thrown into a new system with a porous front line, poor running game, and lousy recievers (except for booker). did u ever wonder that the reason our run game has managed to open up the past 4 weeks is because joey is stretching the field a little more. he's extremely young and if he can manage to return to the quarterback he was at oregon, he's w/o a doubt our QB of the future. daunte is flat out overrated...just ask randy moss. :dolphins:

Joey is going to show the doubters. The Lions tried to ruin him. The Dolphins just need to stay behind him and he'll make them happy they did. The ultimate team player and good guy. :dolphins:

One thing I have noticed is that the play calling has been much different as they went along. The coaches are doing a much better job at playing to Joey's strengths.

Joey is developing into a good NFL QB. He's cutting down on critical mistakes, and has led the team to 4 straight W's.

Also, the Gatorade bath on Thanksgiving is quite possibly the most telling thing about this team this season. It seems that winning cures all ailments, and I think that it's going to be hard to take to starting job from him if this team wins out, or if the lose and he continues to play as well as he has.

I am listening to Jim Rome and he is giving big props to Joey for going into Matt Millen's house and beating the Lions. He also is wondering how Matt Millen keeps his job. Nice to hear Jim giving Joey his just due.

Finally some recognition. Praise the friggig' lord.

The problem is this Joey is too expensive to be a long term backup. Keeping Dante and Joey was always a 1 year deal. I don't think we will be able to keep both next year and Dante is signed thru 2013 so regardless of how Joey plays I think he's gone next year. he'll bring better trade value now though.

I wish it were the other way around cuz I think Dante was never very good and he's even worse now.

Joey's confidence is as high as it's ever been. He's having fun playing football for the first time in 5 years, he loves his teamates, he loves this organization, and is just in a great state of mind. I expect Joey to play pretty well the rest of the year. I love Daunte Culpepper, but I'm rooting for Joey to give us a reason for competition next year. I just want wins baby!
