Falcons re-signed Joey Harrington to an undisclosed contract, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
Getting cut in a salary cap move, then re-signing less than a week later is a sign your NFL juice is gone. Harrington made the right move to return, because he still has a legitimate chance at starting over Chris Redman or a rookie to be named later. He can be a capable backup, but tends to fade when he starts for long stretches.

Your on top of things..................

Remember that? Lol. Yeah hes a pretty decent backup I guess you could say. I am just glad he is not here.

I'm just filling in for you... i wonder if this changes things with the falcons wanting Matt R.

Lol nah we are both trying to fill the impossible shoes of SR 7. He or she are on top of everything. I dont think it changes anything for the drafting of Ryan. I dont expect them to try and make Harrington or Redman there signal caller for a long period of time, if they did than they are going downhill in a matter of days.... I expect them to take Ryan or Long really. They need to solidify there line and Long could be their fall back guy if Ryan doesn't end up being there. But in the end, I think its Ryan either via trade with us or him falling into their laps at their pick.
