I was going to post the signing but you beat me to it. As for Harrington, not sure if I would want him. I don't think he is any better than a young Qb we could pick up in the draft to groom for ourselves. All of the losing may have affected him. Maybe if he is looking for a one year deal on the cheap to prove himself.

well the thing is that we dont longer have the 2nd round in this draft , we still need to adreess other needs via draft , so using a draft pick on a QB for me would be wrong , there is to much talent at LB and OL to be waisting picks witha rookie QB , Harrington would be like a rookie (for you and many others) , but we wouldent have to trade for him :dolphins: .:D

I say sign him. I don't think that he is "unproven" as he has started for 4 seasons now. However, I do think he got the wrong end of the deal with an offense that, despite the multiple 1st round picks, sevearly underachieved. I'm not saying he isn't one of those that underachieved, I'm saying that everyone on that offense did (even Jones). So, bring him in and hope he never has to start. If he does, we have a veteran with 4 years under him and with a ton more talent to work with than he ever had in Detroit.

I understand what you are saying about using a draft pick, I agree we have more pressing needs, but I still think we can find a better option elsewhere.
