Wake up people. We are watching our season potentially go down the tubes here. I say give Daunte another half, or another quarter if he doesn't get his act together. It may not be all his fault, but our team deserves to have the best chance to win. If that is Joey so be it. It is not like we can worry about ruining his confidence. That is quite obviously already happened. After watching 350 pound guys run C-Pep down like he is running in place. RUN THE BALL, PLAY D, TAKE YOUR SHOTS WHEN OPEN, DON'T TURN THE BALL OVER. SOUNDS EASY. GET RID OF THE BALL @#$%$%$#$$&^*!!!!!!!!!!

I Love my team, Just want to win:boohoo::boohoo::boohoo:

Agreed! Make Joey the starter next week (give him all the reps with the first unit this week in practice). Either move Mularkey down to the field or take the play calling duties away from him period. There must be a change, Saban cannot afford to be complacent and stay the course.

There is no way that you can blame Daunte for all of the problems this weekend. The team needs to play with a greater sense of urgency, and the line needs to step it up. Not entirely Daunte's fault anymore.

I dont think its as "easy" as you make it sound....obviously since we are struggling pretty badly. It's a team game, and if the team as a WHOLE isn't playing well, the result will be losing. Thats pretty much what we've seen so far.

joey works from behind the center. That is a large part of the problem yesterday. Why did they go shotgun most of the game? stupidity from the top on down.

Harrington knows to get rid of it. He is quicker getting back setting up. He is faster when having to take off. He is better at the playaction right now. DC needs to see this by standing on the sideline and taking some pressure off him and then let him come back. Now is a perfect time to switch QB's because NE wont be able to see who we are as well.

Give me a break. Daunte wasn't responsible for our D's 4th quarter collapse, Capers' fetish for blitzing Zach, or lousy coaching. Daunte did his part. He played well enough to win.

Funny how no one wants to admit this.

Wish they would try Mularkey down on the field. If I am remembering correctly, seems like the O was struggling somewhat last year, as well during a stretch. Moved Linehan down on the field to talk with the players, about what each was seeing, and things seemed to pick back up. Couldnt hurt anything to give it a try.

Exactly, good to see someone with some sence around here. Daunte played good yesterday, he should be our starter. I am sick of everyone blaming Daunte for the TEAMS bad play.

Actually, this is the first time I had seen Daunte play horrible this year. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker, he needs to learn how to scrammble, he needs to sit his butt down and let Joey take over.

HAHA, we wwent shotgun because that givrd Pep and extra 1.5 seconds to get rid of the ball before he is hit in the mouth by the D.

The most velocity I saw on a pass yesterday came on Ronnie Brown's failed two point conversion attempt. The mere fact that it was Brown throwing the pass tells you everything you need to know about Culpepper.

The coaching staff may be reluctant to bench him, but they sure as hell don't trust him to make the most important throw of the game.
