Was just wondering where all the guys are now that was posting this stuff bach to the end of last season when Me and a few others was trying to tell you all that he was the best player on our defense...Last year and now?

He is on track to break his season sack record and lead the league in sacks. Prowbowl all the way. Interesting that the top 3 in the NFL with sacks are all 3-4 OLB.

WE TOLD YOU GUYS SO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year he was out of position and did not do all that well. So some people got upset with the money spent on him and his production. Give them a break.

Actually last year he started slowly and by the second half of the season he was one of our better defensive players.

I'll admit I never liked the guy, and wasn't too pleased with his performance last year. This year I've changed my mind. Love the guy!

Thats why people should try to understand player positioning before they start calling people busts. If he stunk it up as an OLB last year, then yeah, I agree, but he wasnt an OLB for a good 50% of his plays on the season.

I was wrong about the guy. He was misused last year, as well.

People still talk to me about how they think JP is past his prime and that he sucked last year. That just goes to show you how naive some people really are. He was out of position and wasn't utilized in the right way at all. Thank Dom Capers for the "blip" in his stat line.

Who can say they were happy with his production at the beginning of last year after the money we spent on him? I wasn't one who was bad talking Joey, but it was hard not being disappointed.

I am one who has been rough on Ginn though. I will wait a couple more games to see if he can keep his #'s consistent before I eat crow on that one, but last week he really impressed.

All in all, I'm starting to chalk up most of last year's issues to coaching. Well, except Beck.

I wasnt happy about his production, but not because of Joey, because of the coaching staff. I understood they were lining him up wrong and it drove me frekain insane everytime I saw his hand in the dirt.. That gave him a free pass with me. Now we are playing him right and look what happens, he's on his way to the pro bowl and on pace to set an NFL record for sacks

Absolutely... Becks biggest issue's i think are fumbling, you really cant teach a player not to fumble, a QB anyways, you just expect they know how to hold onto the fottball.

yeah, this stuff is pretty easy to say when the guy is playing out of his mind. Where were his supporters last year? where were Browns supporters when he was hurt? or Ginn before last week?

2007 supporter right here bro (If you dont think so you can always go into the archives)... I supported all three of them last year and continue to this year. I knew Porter was being used incorrectly, I knew/felt Ronnie would come back strong (due to modern medicine), I always supported Ginn (although I was starting to get weary of him this year - I did post however he needs to be consistent)

There was a few people here that sujpported Joey from about 1/2 thru last season until now.
I was one of them. They guy was playing OLB in a 4-3 and DE. Capers killed the guy and his production. Even still playing out of position the guy was our best player on defesne
Said this last year. Check the past post.

Really? Tiki Barber says hello. Anyway, no one knows what type of player Beck is/will be, but the same people who labeled Beck & Ginn busts did the same with Porter.

Not true...never said a word about Porter, besides maybe paying too much for him.

And teaching a RB not to fumble, worlds different than a QB.

I've always had Ginn's back from day one. You can't put up numbers or be a #1 receiver if the ball isn't coming your way.

Same with Ronnie, when healthy he's a top 5 back.
