Joey porter talking smack again!!!! WHY???

well i read the other article and its not as bad as i thought.. he just being confident ... nothing wrong with that... kinda jumped the gun a bit guys sorry...
 
this game is mental just as much physical....KEEP TALKING JOEY...We needed this because in watching the player interviews..I notice how relaxed and even keel about this weeks match up. They were all being modest and complimenting the saints and its just like ok well if we lose atleast we knew how good they are. Joey knows how to stir things up..this hypes the saints up no doubt but they already are hype just off drew brees chants. This lights a fire under our team and basically says, losing this game is not acceptable no matter who they are or what theyve done..
 
hes not talkin smack...i agree wit everythin he said, except the bills game cus I didnt watch it
 
Joey Porter talks smack because he knows he has a TEAM to back him up. We will be the talk of the league after we put a smack down on the Saints. Then we can go BEAT UP THE JETS again.
 
he talks because hes in the locker room after practice and a reporter asks him something like "how do you guys feel about the chance to knock off the unbeaten saints?"

what do you want him to say? of course hes gonna say he wants to beat them, of course hes gonna say we want to stop their offense... hes gonna say what he feels, and thats what everyone on the team should feel...

let joey talk, these guys put a mic in his face and ask him questions about the other team and hes not gonna sugar coat anything, hes a straight shooter and he'll say how he feels...
 
I was expecting something more inflammatory, that was not smack talk by Porter's standards. He would normally call Reggie Bush soft or say he's gonna give Shockey the shocker...
 
Yea I think he knows when to say and how to say it...that was pretty calm and confident for JP!
 
Ummmm because he is Joey Porter and has been like this since he played pop warner? I am sure back then he'd talk about how he was gonna find you after elementary school and beat your tail up!

Cuz he already has a reputation & he is an easy mark.

I hate when the sports media do that.

The whole way that they use quotes is totally messed up because they NEVER say anything about the actual question that was asked to the athelete.

They just take the quote and run & use bold print, so it is almost always going to be seen in the wrong context.
