I think Joey Porter doesn't understand the phrase "high horse", because this team is confident but focused, and not above working hard to figure every opponent out.
Otherwise, he's pretty much right in what he says. The 'phins will need to come out strong and harass Brees as often as possible. If they can get some coverage sacks and force some punts, it will be a good start for your D. Brees does worst when he's not allowed to establish a rhythm.
Lucky for us, we have a pretty decent run game now that we can lean on, as coach Payton has finally felt comfortable running the ball as often as or more often than he passes in a game. This is making things tricky for opponents, as ignoring the run will allow us to ruin your day.
If the Saints get a fast start, it will be that much more difficult to win (not impossible).
I'm not sure how your secondary looks, you have an intriguing rookie in Sean Smith (a CB I really liked coming out of the draft) but I know your safeties are not really considered coverage safeties. I expect Brees to try to throw their way a lot, with success predicated on the pressure your front 7 can get in the backfield.
Also, should you win the coin toss -- tell your captains to take the ball first!
