I'm really excited about Porter as well. He was our best defensive player the second half of last season. The new coaching staff will surely know how to use him much better than the staff did last year. I'm expecting big things.

Just Fyi I saw him about 2 days ago at the Olive Garden in Plantation. He looks like a giant his back is gigantic. I let him eat but said wassup as he left he said whats up back pretty cool he also dropped a 20 dollar tip on a 50 dollar tab. Not badd. I like him a little more now if he can just be used right by our coaches.

Why do people treat football players like high school athletes we should concern ourselves with his game playing and not his private life.

i feel he will have a pro bowl season this year. the reasoning behind this is as soon as he really got acclimated to the defensive scheme he flourished. with the implementation of a more permanemt 3-4 defense and an injury free off-season i feel he will go back to his old ways. also he could be the the emotional leader every team needs like a ray lewis motivator.

He better give a good tip, he shouldn't be hurting for money considering the gargantuan amount this team gave him last offseason. A loudmouth, and way overpaid. However, I would like too see him have a good season, in order prove that he was worthy enough of such a ridiculously large contract, and maybe to trade him after the 2008 season for some more draft picks.

Porter is a joke that we overpaid for. Guy needs to shut his hole and make plays. I thought it was a Joey Porter thread? I like to give my opinion on the loser. I think we wasted a bunch of money on the guy and he did not perform well enough. I also hope that he proves me wrong this season and earns his criminal *** a trip to the pro bowl. You see, really I could care less what trouble he or any of the other guys get into as long as they dominate on the field.

Yeah I agree some people on this site get a pass when they say idiotic things and when you put out a thread or express an unpopular point of view your thread gets moved or deleted! It seems you have to have 6, 7 or 8 thousand posts on this site in order to be viewed as someone that knows football or has common sense!
