I know its been said but he is playing fantastic and is on pace for 60 tackles 20 sacks, he's already broke his sack total from last year.......and he is tied for most sacks in the AFC only tied with the guy who took his spot James Harrison and is .5 behind John Abraham from the Falcons who has played a game more than him.....hopefully he stays healthy and consistent.....should be a pro bowl player....

Funny how all of asudden he's Mr. Popular, before he was washed up and not wroth a dime, now he's the man.

great "comeback" of him.. Porter said before the season that there are "no excuses" for him and that he ghas worked so hard like never before in the offseason..
I was a little nervous at training camp where they could not figure out what was causing pain in his back and some reported that his season maybe in jeopardy.. but now everything is okay and he plays great.. a true leader :)

Don't want to sound arrogant but I always thought that he can be a great player for this team.. and I was just shaking my head as many people around here wanted to see Porter cut this offseason..
but yeah its really funny how quickly opinions here can change

and this thread yesterday was very funny too..

with the season joey porter is having, it would be a shame to waste it and have nothing to show for it. if we can make the playoffs somehow, and have joey porter play at the level that he is playing at now, who knows how far we can go.

Porter starting to live up to that paycheck. I said before the season that Porter was going to have a huge comeback year, no one believed me.

that would be cool if porter would get 20 sacks but i dont think that will happen

Joey Porter has been a pleasant surprise indeed. Hell I didn't even know if he was going to be healthy enough to play this season. Now he is tearing it up. Let's hope it continues.
