Joey Porter

every week i post about joey being on pace for a certain amount of sacks, I believe he has 10.5......last week he was on pace for like 22-23, now he is on pace for 24 even......i say every week that he probably won't make what he is on pace for but he ups it every week.....this guy is playing great football and has been a huge factor on our defense and was one of the reasons we won today...

As a "Porter-hater" who believed all the 3-4 vs 4-3 stuff was crap...It is only after the game today that I am finally convinced...

I ADMIT JOEY IS A PRETTY GOOD PLAYER...I am no longer pissed that he is even on the team, and I am now glad he out there.

He has never had more than 10.5 sacks in a season. This is the third time in his career he has reached 10.5 sacks(2000, 2005 and 2008). The thing is, he did that in 16 games the past two times. He has only played SEVEN so far.

He is on pace for 61 tackles and 24 sacks. Lets not forget if he does reach that 24 sacks(which I kinda doubt he will though) that would be a league record for a single season. Porter is awesome!

i started a thread about porter back in the offseason, asking people if they thought he could return to his pro-bowl form? almost everybody was like, man he's done, washed up. i knew this guy had something left.

thats the problem people dont listen to others that explain things with logic. he was used in a horrible way last year thast why and still produced but people didnt acre to see facts adn reality.
