At the same time the fans were booing and chanting "Jo-ey" "Jo-ey", Harrington was on the sidelines frowning and telling them to be quiet...

Joey harrington definitely knows more about football than anyone posting here on finheaven. Can we agree on that?

So, how can you guys not see that calling for him to start after 2 games is so rediculous? He himself thinks so!!!!

I would've thought that Harrington would've been raising his arms in the air and telling the fans to chant his name louder and louder

That's what a teammate is supposed to do. What's that got to do with him possibly coming into the game?

Definately sounds like he's part of the team, stand up guy

he was actually shouting"Louder Louder".:shakeno:

joey doesn't have the emotional resiliency to handle the criticism. he's still licking his wounds from the Lions. joey's set for life financially. the "booing/criticism" is the price you pay to be a professional athlete. To be in your 20's, set for life financially. Booing is a small price to pay.

Thats because he has seen the protection he is getting so is scared to go onto the field :sidelol:

Joey wants the chance to play, but that won't come until week 4 or 5 if Daunte doesnt show something soon. Joey was playing golf up in West palm at my uncles home course and when they got rained out he went to the bar for a few beers. He said he would get a shot in week 4 or 5 depending on the play of Culpepper.

I love Harrington. We need players like that, who know their role on the team. Much respect for him.
