Because is has killed may Bears over the last five years, Winning four of the last five times he has played them.
His nick name should be Captain Int. as he has thrown many of those in the past 5 weeks.
What? All this Harrington swooning is unjustified. Dont be blind people, we beat the Bears because our defense played lights out and made it a lot easier for our offense with short fields and endless opportunities.
I like Harrington, but he isnt our next big time play maker at the position. He throws picks consistently in games and it KILLS us.
An average of 2 picks a game or so is not what we need out of a qb. Were not the type of team that can afford that right now. I like his ability to run around in the pocket and his energy and positive attitude, and sometimes he delivers some lasers. Yet, that last td to chambers was an easy pick had Chambers not made a great grab, that ball was thrown behind and to the side of Chambers and he still caught it.
In my opinion it could have been Frerrote in there and we would have come away with the same results. Wait, Frerrote was actually ALREADY clicking with the receivers and offense last year and we wouldnt have had to get 2 new qbs that needed to adapt. Im not saying Frerote was our qb, or that we would have had a loyt of success with him, but looking back on it..would it have killed to keep him, the guy really wanted to stay here in Miami and he was pissed and left because Saban flat out told him they were trying to upgrade, not just bring in competition, but upgrade. The guy is a competitor and I felt that at the end of last season, he was throwing better than anyone in a Dolphins uni this year.
