Joey's quick release help OLINE today. Not bad. Hopefully he will get another chance next week. This may open some holes for Ronnie to run next week.

Still not as quick as DAN....

Yeah the sacks didn't kill us today like they have been. But it was the penalties that absolutely killed us. The biggest was the hold when Booker had a catch down to the 2. We probably would've scored a TD instead of having a FG blocked. Penalties and TOs. We flat out beat ourselfs today. Kudos to Joey, he played well, but Daunte is still our guy.

Maybe it was me, but Joey had a lot of time to throw today. Of what I saw in the 3rd and 4th quarter, Joey wasn't getting pressued that much. NE was sending about 3-6 people a play. That was smart by Belichek. He wasnted Harrington win the game with his arm, and he couldnt do it. If you rush 3-6 against Culpepper, he will pick you apart with his arm. Joey started 17/22 and ended the game 22/36. Thats not impressive to me, espescially at the end of the game when your team is down. Joey is a BACK-UP.

true dat statement about joey being a back-up. It did seemed like the line gave the qb alot more time today. Joey didn't do any better or worse than Culpepper. Honestly, we can just as easily win or lose with either one. Mularkey sucks, he's the problem.

Yeah, it was nice to see him get rid of the ball. The only problem is that his picks cost us 14 points. If he can reduce the turnovers he'll be fine. The costly turnovers are what plagued him in Detroit, so, this isn't a good sign.

GO PHINS~!

penalties... false starts are unacceptable. Holdings are understandable unless the play is away from you. Sometimes theirs a hold to keep your quarterback from getting killed.

You know what may have given us some solid o-line play, FINALLY a little bit of consistency!!! they still can't run block for a damn.

But lets be honest here. Until we prove we can throw the ball downfield, teams will forever put eight in the box. We are not making them pay for jack when they do that.

Joey does have a nice release. His critics in Detroit claim that this was a problem because he never gave the play time to develop. With the playmakers the dolphin have maybe that approach can work here.

i think it was the ridiculous asmount of penalties that killed us today to many false starts etc by the oline. good to see joey in there and i hope he gets another start next game!!!
