I never thought that Beck needed a mob nickname before, but the story about McCown's "convenient" hand injury reminded me that this was, in fact, the second time that Beck's competition in a QB battle has suffered a hand injury to their throwing hand.

Beck's competition at BYU also suffered a hand injury that kept him out for enough time for Beck to solidify the starting position.

I never realized before how hard Beck is. Did anyone report any cadillacs with two hulking guys in leather jackets leaving the scene after McCown's finger injury?

"Needle Nose" would be more accurate. Beck looks like the white Spy vs. Spy.
 
Babyface and Needle Nose are OK.

I think "noodles" would be a better name for Beck.
 
Took a ball peen hammer to them "Casino" style.
 
If we can get a Bobby in on the offense we could call him, Ted Ginn, and John Beck the Kennedys. Nobody messes with the Kennedys apparently.
 
What would really be nice if he could earn the nickname "Probowl Beck"!

The problem is that if that did come true alot of people on the site would be mad he turned out like that and not a bust they want him to be.

I'd die laughing, or crying, if he left and got it with another team.
