John Beck - last OTA's

If he continues to make plays like this, he won't be the only one impressed with Beck
I just had my first “wow†moment in regards to QB John Beck when he looked off the safety and rifled a 25-yard pass across the field to David Sutton in the left corner of the end zone for a TD. I don’t think any other QB on this roster could make that pass, Trent Green included.

Nice. I hope Ginn can cut down on the dropped passes. Maybe having Chambers as a mentor isn't a good thing after all?

The Ginn comment is very worrisome. I like the prospect of Ginn, but still don't think he'll ever live up to #9 overall

Thats one of the really impressive qualities about Beck. His ability to follow his progressions.Combine that with a quick release and you have the makings of an excellent QB.

And he looks off his receivers like a veteran.

Beck will be able to show off more of his talent with the pads on, when looking off safeties, following progressions, using his quick release will be more functional talents than they have been in the basic minicamp drills. He showed a good arm and touch, but we haven't scratched the surface with Beck's skills yet.

He'll be fine. First time he practices in about 6 months. Plus, he is learning the system. He outran the safeties and CBs. He was awesome out there.
I am very impressed with our draft this year.

Wow, let's relax a little bit. It's Ginn's first NFL practice session, let's give him some time before we write him off. Players have good days and bad days, give him time.

Yeah, I think we might have the most influential draft class in terms of immediate impact in the NFL this year.

Maybe he should watch that Sutton kid? Anyone know much about him? Hes got great size and hands going by his camp.

Well I hope Ginn gets his game hands ready see here in the NFL during games there usally are these very fast guys who are looking to lay you out, and if your having problem catching a ball in shorts with no real threat of getting de-cleated you might want to step up your pass catching ability we know you can run, but you need the ball in your hands to have that matter..

i think his route running and getting off the line of scrimmage are of more concern than his hands. let's wait for preseason.

The not so distant future.

Chambers WR
Ginn JR WR
