Clayton just said on ESPN news at 8 pm est:

Miami is trying to convince Drew to take less guaranteed $ to come to Miami. They will talk into the night and if it doesn't work out with Brees, Miami will turn its attention to Daunte.

Culpepper's injury is a mystery because Minney won't let Dolphin docs look at Pep. Minney wants a 2nd round pick. Clayton said its a 12 month injury that Daunte suffered.

Wow, I don't see Brees deciding to take less coin....if the rumored 3 million difference was correct, then I guess Brees is a Saint.

Let the saints get that weak armed qb and lets get Culpepper or draft 1.If the saints get Brees and the raiders get Culpepper,Cutler would most likely still be on the board.
