John Clayton , Phins get offers 9ers don,t also Saban wants more #2 picks

Sounds good. The logic makes sense too because most GM's will atest that after pick 15 its all the same kind of talent between 15-40 or 50 its just a question of need/want at that point. In addition 2nd rd picks are obviously much cheaper to sign and thats a good way to build quality depth

Doesn't surprise me that Miami is getting more calls for trades. Saban has been throwing up smoke screens for a while now, while the Niners just this week started pretending to be interested in someone other than Rodgers. The Niners are pretty transparent at this point, and Saban is as mysterious as ever. He's done a great job with this.

I wouldnt be surprised at all to end up with about 5 second round picks. Saban has checked out alot of talent in the 2nd -3rd round range.

So my question is do we just keep trading down till all we have are 2nd round picks? How far do we drop in the first round ? Their has to be a limit on how far nick will fall !

I think in a scenario where we end up with two first rounders, we use one and trade down with the other. Just my guess, though.

I would be impatient but not disappointed if we traded very far down and had a boatload of 2nd rnd picks. Anyways:Nick, do your thing!

Come back in the bidding, Minnesota.

Please.....

They're more likely than the Redskins IMHO.

This close to the draft, I think you can pretty much take the opposite of what everybody says and assume it is going to come true.

Someone will come calling on Sat. The smoke will blow away and I think we will be trading down ( where I don,t know!) by the looks of all the chit chat.

I agree if we are talking Washington's 25th, but I think the options at 18 are just too good- we could get a very solid defensive starter for the secondary (S, CB) or even an OT (Khalif Barnes).

If we had not gotten the 2nd from KC, obviously this would be very different. I could see us maybe trading the KC 2nd and moving down into the 2nd and possibly acquiring an extra 3rd.

Dude, keep the number 2 or get two first rounders and one second and possibly a third or next year's second.
