Clayton reports that the Dolphins and Drew Brees will resume talks tommorow. Brees is indeed leaving Miami, but he is going back to Birmingham to rehab. He is not going to New Orleans to sign a deal like some others are saying. In fact, Clayton goes on to say that there were no negotiations today between Brees's agent and the Dolphins, and Brees merely took a physical and got acquanted with the city. Sry I don't have a link, buyou have to have nflinsider to read it yourself.

Clayton goes on to talk about the abnormality of Mike Vanderjagt visiting the Dolphins.

i really hope your bs'ing me.....:fire::shakeno::fire:

Sounds like a contract may be agreed upon tomorrow. Brees needed time to get acquanted to the city of Miami.

Its true. Here is Clayton's report:

Brees-Dolphins talks put off 'til Tuesday: The Dolphins and quarterback Drew Brees are expected to resume negotiations Tuesday. Brees left Miami on Monday evening for Birmingham, Ala., where he's rehabbing his right shoulder under the watchful eye of Dr. James Andrews, who performed the operation in January.

Contract talks between the Dolphins and Brees' agent, Tom Condon, did not take place because Brees spent the day undergoing a battery of doctors' tests. He underwent so many that he had to visit at least two different facilities to be tested. Not only did doctors perform an MRI on his shoulder, but the Dolphins gave Brees a full physical.

The hangup between Brees and the Dolphins is how much of a contract will be guaranteed. The Saints are believed to be offering more money and more guarantees than the Dolphins, who are wary of guaranteeing $10 million of his contract after he came off shoulder surgery.
On the Culpepper front: It's still down to the Dolphins to try to get the Vikings to trade Daunte Culpepper. The Titans are out. The Raiders haven't made any offers. The Dolphins really don't want to give Minnesota a second-round choice, but they might have to if they can't get a Drew Brees deal done. Stay tuned.

uhhhhh..... this could very well be true, but it would also mean that 99.9% of ALL other reports were BS

Just goes to show you that noone but The Dolphins and Brees really knows what is going on. Clayton was on since 6pm saying that the Dolphins and brees were negotiating a deal and there was a stalemate on Guaranteed money...then now he reports that NO negotiations ever took place and tomm there will be??????..Its all so funny about the specualtion that goes on!

I don't know if I can take another day of this bull****. Good night y'all, and good luck.

Yeah, it says that Claytons quick hits are insider only, but I just realized I checked the quick hits without signing in to the insider. Mistake by ESPN, everyone take advantage while you can!!

Sounds to me like the Dolphins put his shoulder through every single medical and physical test that they could at this stage of his rehab, so that they would know exactly what they are putting a price on. Much like taking a multi-million dollar car for an extreme test drive.

The Dolphins will pore over their test results on his shoulder tonight, and then they'll decide what they're firm, final offer for Brees is. If he takes it, he's a Dolphin; if he doesn't take it, Culpepper's a Dolphin!

Everyone can go to bed for the night!
